We’re looking for a 2nd Shift Lead Supervisor who brings both strong leadership presence and advanced technical knowledge to oversee operations, drive performance, and lead a high-performing team.
This is not a sit-back-and-manage role—this is a frontline leadership position where you’ll take ownership of production, people, and process.
What You’ll Own
Technical Leadership & Process Control
- Lead and support extrusion setup, die changes, and tear-downs with a strong understanding of machinery and processes
- Ensure all lines are properly prepared for efficient startup and minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous process improvements
Production Oversight
- Oversee 14 extrusion lines, ensuring production meets schedule, quality, and efficiency targets
- Execute and monitor real-time production adjustments to meet changing priorities
- Ensure all materials, processes, and packaging align with SKU requirements
Quality & Performance Excellence
- Enforce strict quality standards with routine inspections every 2 hours
- Drive accountability for product consistency and defect prevention
- Ensure all project and production changes are executed accurately and on time
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of 16 second-shift employees
- Make staffing decisions, assign work, and balance workloads based on production needs
- Handle employee relations, including performance management and disciplinary actions
- Build a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or extrusion environment
- Strong technical knowledge of extrusion equipment, dies, and production processes
- Ability to lead from the floor—hands-on, decisive, and solutions-oriented
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to drive accountability while maintaining team engagement
