RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a 2nd SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER in our COVINGTON, GA location!


The shift time is 2:50 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional mandatory weekends.


Your Job

As a Material Handler, you’ll ensure accurate staging, labeling, and movement of materials to support uninterrupted production while prioritizing safety, organization, and efficiency.


What you Will do in Your Role

  • Ensure accurate labeling and scanning of finished products within department
  • Monitor and utilize KANBAN system to identify materials needed
  • Stage materials to ensure no disruption of production flow; stage materials for on-coming shift
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide constant communication with production.
  • Audit finished goods for accuracy (# count)
  • Comply with all packaging requirements within department.
  • Practice 5-S and workplace organization functions to ensure area is clean and safe
  • Practice safe work behaviors, complying with all safety rules and guidelines.
  • Responsible for all other jobs as assigned


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Lift up to 50-75 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & outdoors on occasion as needed
  • Frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger manipulation, handle, and feel; reach with arms and hands above head; talk and hear
  • Sometimes required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit
  • Specific vision requirements: close, distant, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Previous forklift experience
  • Material Handler experience
  • Willing and able to meet the physical requirements


Physical Requirements:

  • Able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a hot, cold, noisy, or humid industrial environment.
  • Ability to wear Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) at all times (i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel toe boots).
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required, including frequent use of hands, wrists, and forearms to operate equipment, handle materials, and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Ability to climb stairs and navigate around machinery safely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Must remain alert to surroundings and follow all safety protocols at all times.
