2nd Shift Electromechanical Assembler

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble and integrate advanced diagnostic equipment used in hospitals across the country. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys precision work, detailed processes, and contributing to life-impacting technology in a regulated, high-quality environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble and integrate complex electromechanical diagnostic equipment
  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with over 100 defined steps
  • Integrate multiple sub-assemblies into final chassis builds with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform intricate wiring tasks, managing connection points
  • Align, calibrate, and test systems during the integration process
  • Complete work orders accurately and maintain precise production records
  • Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For

Required Skills

  • Experience in mechanical assembly
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, ISO, or similar)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform prolonged standing, bending, and reaching

  • 15% walking and up to 5% sitting

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.70 - $21.70/hr.
