1st Shift MIG Welder

Join a specialized team in a company renowned for designing and building custom polyurethane foaming fixtures since 1983. We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to contribute to the fabrication of parts on machines ranging from 400,000 to 1,000,000 foaming units.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding 75% of the time, with the remaining portion being TIG welding.
• Weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials.
• Work with structural I beams ranging from 5/8 inch up to 2 inches.
• Interpret and weld from blueprints, including material fabrication.
• Prepare weld surfaces as required.
• Follow safe operating procedures for overhead cranes and forklifts.

• 3+ years of experience with MIG welding.
• Experience in welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials.
• Ability to weld from blueprints and fabricate materials.

• Experience with stainless steel fitting.
• Blueprint reading and grinding skills.
• Sheet metal work.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Documentation experience for jobs and orders.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit, and organized facility with a total of about 25 employees in both the shop and office.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.

- 401k- Medical, dental, vision- PTO (on contract to hire as well!!)- 7 Days Holiday pay (on contract to hire as well!!) - 1.5 time on Saturday and double time on Sunday - Training for pay bumps- PPE provided- Looking to double their facility so the opportunity for various leadership opportunity

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
