BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering. 5+ years' management experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis
Experience working with SAP ERP software (particularly modules for manufacturing such as SAP-PP, PP-PI, QM) CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD),
Knowledge of brazing, welding, or thermal insulation techniques.
Experience with testing procedures for thermal systems (e.g., pressure tests, thermal cycling).
Ability to read and interpret P&ID and thermal schematics.
Fluent in Mandarin
Responsibilities:
Direct the daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met on time, within budget, and according to specific technical requirements.
Monitor and optimize plant performance by identifying bottlenecks, reducing cycle times, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma).
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of production staff, ensuring a cross-trained and high-performing team.
Maintain a "safety-first" culture by ensuring total compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and internal corporate safety protocols.
Oversee the preventative maintenance schedules for all factory machinery and tools to maximize uptime and extend asset life.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales departments to ensure successful product launches and the rapid resolution of production-floor technical challenges.
Enforce total compliance with established quality control protocols and SOPs, ensuring all factory output meets or exceeds internal and external specifications.
Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), labor efficiency, and throughput for executive review.
Synchronize with procurement and warehouse teams to align raw material availability with production schedules, ensuring zero downtime while maintaining lean inventory levels.
Act as the lead for organizational or process changes, ensuring smooth transitions when introducing new machinery, shifts, or production methodologies.
Perform special projects and urgent operational tasks assigned by leadership to address emerging business challenges and opportunities
