The Print Shop Clerk supports the Marketing & Public Relations Department by providing timely, high-quality print and copy services; coordinating and bidding print jobs; assisting with inventory management; and helping maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient Print Shop environment. In alignment with Lewis & Clark Community College’s commitment to service, collaboration, and excellence, this role contributes to effective communication and supports the diverse needs of the campus community.
  • Track Print Shop work requests against required completion dates using the Marketing & Public Relations Request System, supporting timely and effective service to the campus community.
  • Produce print jobs and copies for team members and college departments in accordance with college policies and established standards.
  • Collaborate with others, including Marketing & Public Relations designers and college personnel, to obtain and clarify information needed for accurate and efficient production.
  • Prepare price quotes for both in-house and outsourced print jobs, supporting responsible use of college resources.
  • Cultivate professional working relationships with print and production advisors, printers, and other publication representatives.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of test materials and other sensitive information submitted for production.
  • Organizes and distributes completed print jobs in a timely and dependable manner.
  • Manage Print Shop and Marketing & Public Relations supply inventories to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Prepares bid specifications and requisitions for Print Shop and Marketing & Public Relations supply inventories in alignment with college procedures.
  • Ensure necessary supplies and paper stock to complete in-house print jobs efficiently.
  • Partner with college departments to schedule and coordinate production work associated with student manuals sold in the bookstore.
  • Organize paper samples and other Print Shop materials, as needed.
  • Maintain contacts with copier representatives, off-campus printers, and other publication partners.
  • Engage with off-campus printers to obtain bids and coordinate the completion of print jobs.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Oversee annual inventory reports in support of accounting and financial processes.
  • Support and oversee paper delivery to support campus offices and copy services.
  • Process order payments through the college’s accounting application.
  • Contribute with the planning and preparation of college events, supporting campus engagement and outreach efforts.
  • Processes and record gift acknowledgements with care and attention to detail.
  • Provide general office support to the Marketing & Public Relations team, contributing to a positive, organized, and service-focused work environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • One year of experience with inventory control and copy production, and knowledge of paper products, copiers, bindery tools and techniques preferred.


Team Members can expect to be paid an hourly rate of $16.15.
