Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET Core, front-end development with React.js, and API design and implementation. Additionally, familiarity with GitHub Copilot will be a plus to enhance productivity and code quality.


Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend applications using .NET Core.
  • Create and consume RESTful APIs to support front-end applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate React.js components with backend services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot to assist in code generation, review, and improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong understanding of .NET Core framework.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and front-end development.
  • Solid knowledge of API development, REST, JSON, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitHub.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud services like Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of database systems like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
