Air Moving Technician Responsibilities & Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain air moving equipment and systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to air flow and ventilation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
• Calibrate and adjust systems for optimal performance
• Assist in designing and planning new air movement systems
• Clean and replace filters and other components as necessary
• Coordinate with clients and other technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Provide emergency repair services as needed

Air Moving Technician Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as an Air Moving Technician or similar role
• Certification in HVAC or related field
• Strong understanding of ventilation and air movement principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or certification in HVAC or a related field
• Solid knowledge of air movement systems and components
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
