Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Gadsden, AL. The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding

Shift’s Available: Days

Employment Type: PRN or Per Diem

Hours: 8-hour

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.
• Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories.
• Providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Previous experience with electronic health record.

Additional Qualifications That AreaPlus:

One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
