Job Title: Wiring Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician with expertise in blueprint and schematic reading, and a minimum of 2 years of electrical/electronic wiring experience with medium to high voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with higher-level circuit boards, panel boards, and be familiar with panel layout, control boxes, or sheet metal enclosures. You will be responsible for electrical wiring and fabricating the inside of medium voltage starters by following blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Wire and mount parts using electronic parts, ohm meters, hand tools, and electric tools.
  • Fabricate enclosures, assemble stacks, and install power wire or wire harnesses for various standard products.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and shop instructions.
  • Follow company workmanship standards while performing tasks.
  • Understand wire color codes, wire sizes, schematics, creep and strike distances.
  • Measure, apply torque tolerance, and assemble hardware.
Essential Skills
  • Blueprint and schematic reading.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical/electronic wiring with medium/high voltage.
  • Experience with panel layout, control boxes, or sheet metal enclosures.
  • Ability to interpret schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in wiring, panel layout, electromechanical assembly, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with medium voltage wiring and testing.

Work Environment

The job is based in a large, clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled electrical cabinet assembly and warehouse environment. The space is organized with large open areas. The role requires working Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of extended hours and weekends in a fast-paced setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of PITTSBURGH, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
