Job Title: Systems Administrator (Manufacturing / MES Environment)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Duration: 6–12+ Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support a 24/7 manufacturing IT environment. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the full IT infrastructure stack, including hardware, virtualization, core services, and application delivery platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production environments and exposure to MES-supported systems.

• Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Infrastructure Management (VMware & Cisco UCS)

• Core Systems Administration (Microsoft Stack)

• Application Delivery (Citrix)

• MES Platform Support

• Compliance & Documentation

Required Qualifications

• Experience

• 5+ years of systems administration experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience supporting MES platforms (e.g., Siemens, Emerson) preferred

• Technical Skills

• Backup & Storage: Veeam, Commvault, Avamar; SAN/NAS/Cloud storage
• Virtualization & Hardware: VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Cisco UCS
• Microsoft Technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP
• Citrix: Virtual Apps/Desktops administration
• Networking: Cisco switches (Layer 2/3), VLANs, Wireless APs, basic voice/network troubleshooting

• Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
• Ability to handle critical production environments and mentor junior team members
