Welder / Fabricator – $25-29/hr (1st Shift)

What You’ll Do

As a Welder/Fabricator, you’ll work hands‑on with a wide range of metal components and equipment. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing high‑quality welds, repairs, and assemblies using multiple welding techniques
• Operating fabrication equipment (brakes, rolls, shears, drill presses, flame cutters)
• Measuring and verifying workpiece specifications with precision tools
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and build drawings
• Setting up and running machine tools (drill press, end mill, edge planer)
• Assembling and installing equipment using both hand and power tools
• Aligning and fastening machine components accurately during assembly
• Operating lathes and additional fabrication equipment as needed
• Cutting, threading, bending, and connecting metal and non‑metal piping
• Securing piping with brackets, clamps, and hangers
• Performing both TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel

What You Bring

• 4+ years of welding and fabrication experience
• Strong proficiency in TIG and MIG welding on stainless & carbon steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience running fabrication machinery and shop tools
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety awareness

Bonus Skills

• Fabrication‑heavy experience
• Pulse welding experience
• Welding certifications (AWS or similar) are a plus

Work Environment

You’ll work on a climate‑controlled industrial shop floor alongside skilled tradespeople. The environment includes:

• Moderate noise, heat, and active fabrication equipment
• Standing, lifting, bending, and hands‑on work for the full shift
• A safety‑focused culture with required PPE
• First shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This is a Permanent position based out of Tonawanda, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
