Stainless Steel MIG Welder – Custom Fabrication (Direct Hire)

1st and 2nd Shift Available | $5.00/hr Shift Differential (2nd shift)

If you’re a welder who enjoys variety and takes pride in clean, solid welds, this is a great opportunity. You’ll build custom stainless steel equipment used in demanding agricultural environments. This is custom fabrication work—not repetitive production welding—so projects stay interesting.

Custom heavy-duty equipment for the fertilizer industry, including:

• Blenders and mixers
• Bucket elevators and conveyors
• Rotary drums
• Custom fertilizer bins and tanks

• Perform stainless steel MIG welding on custom industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Weld using .035–.045 flux-core and hardwire MIG
• Weld 1/16” to 1/4” mild steel and stainless steel (pipe, sheet, plate, channel)
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Complete custom welds in, on, and around tanks
• Maintain strong quality and safety standards

• Welding certification, diploma, or equivalent hands-on MIG welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Stainless steel welding experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding positions
• Comfortable working in varied positions (bending, kneeling, crawling)

This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
