Job Title: Welder
Job Description

The production welder will be responsible for welding pipes, flanges, fittings, pumps, and other irrigation equipment. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and work with jigs and fixtures as needed. Additionally, the welder may be required to lay out parts and perform some fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks on various irrigation equipment including pipes and fittings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction.
  • Work with jigs and fixtures as necessary for precise welding.
  • Lay out parts and perform fabrication tasks as required.
Essential Skills
  • 4+ years of welding experience, preferably in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years of fabrication/layout experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Welding Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with grinding and working with mild steel.

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse, shop, and yard environment, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees are encouraged to dress in layers. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with limited overtime and no weekend shifts. The facility has a family-like atmosphere, with 20-25 employees working closely together.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Escalon, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
