MIG Welder / Fabricator

We’re hiring Welders with hands‑on MIG welding and fabrication experience to join a steady manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates looking for consistent work, competitive pay, and long‑term growth—whether you come from a shop, production, or fabrication environment.

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum and/or steel components
• Weld, tack, and assemble parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and measurements
• Fabricate components using .035 wire and standard welding processes
• Weld in various positions, including flat and vertical
• Inspect welds for quality and consistency
• Use hand tools, grinders, and basic fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with a team to meet production goals

• 6+ months of MIG welding experience
• 1+ year of hands‑on welding experience (shop or production)
• Experience welding aluminum or steel
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and a good work ethic

• Fabrication or assembly experience
• Flux‑core or TIG welding experience
• Manufacturing or shop welding experience

• Manufacturing or fabrication shop
• Hands‑on, tool‑based work
• Safety‑focused, team‑oriented setting
• PPE required as appropriate for welding work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
