Warehouse Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our team. You will work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves handling various warehouse tasks and requires a proactive approach to managing inventory and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize material handling equipment for inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks, and locating and picking material into and out of warehouse racks.
• Safely operate assigned material handling equipment, ensuring all equipment is inspected and in safe operating condition. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Stock and arrange products to ensure efficient warehouse turnover of inventory.
• Determine accurate material quantities through cycle counting.
• Receive material into inventory, move material between designated locations, and locate/pick material from warehouse locations as required. Ensure accurate part number, quantity, and data entries impacting electronic records.
• Resolve discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
• Ensure pallets are stable, observe pallet heights, and verify that material, racking, and equipment are not damaged. Ensure materials are not left in aisles.
• Practice safe material handling techniques.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required. This role is designated as Safety Sensitive.

• Experience with inventory management and control.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, including sit-down forklifts.
• Skills in shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and loading.
• Ability to use RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Strong material handling capabilities.

• Experience with shipping carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL.
• Ability to resolve discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
• Ability to perform accurate cycle counting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bloomington, IN.

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bloomington,IN.
