Warehouse Supervisor

Schneider Electric
Seneca, SC

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading, coordinating, training, and developing one or more teams involved in receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and/or processing of Schneider Electric products.

This is a 1st shift position, with hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend support as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce Safety, Health, and Five S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) throughout the Warehouse.

  • Lead your team in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in warehouse operations requiring knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, value added services, and production and order requirements.

  • Organize and assign work to utilize available skills, knowledge, and experience to obtain the most favorable costs, order accuracy, and completeness.

  • Ensure on time and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, prioritizing critical shipments and service commitments.

  • Drive team engagement and accountability through clear expectations, performance visibility, and consistent follow up.

  • Own warehouse data integrity and performance systems, ensuring transactional accuracy across all warehouse processes (receiving, put away, picking, shipping).

  • Analyze operational data (Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Enterprise Resource Planning systems and Warehouse Management Systems) to identify trends, root causes, and performance gaps, and drive corrective actions with clear accountability and follow up.

  • Manage staffing and performance management (including performance evaluations, coaching and disciplinary actions), task delegation, project delegation, work planning and headcount management including departmental approved time off policies.

  • Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to Schneider Production System principles.

  • Act as the first level of escalation, ensuring issues are clearly defined, supported by data, assigned with ownership, and followed through to resolution.

Digital & Data Leadership

  • Utilize Tableau dashboards, Microsoft Excel, and system reports to analyze key performance indicators (aging, throughput, errors, service levels).

  • Translate data into clear operational priorities (what needs to be fixed today versus escalated versus structurally improved).

  • Enforce strict adherence to Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing and Warehouse Management System transactional processes, ensuring accuracy over speed and preventing process bypass behaviors (for example, incorrect confirmations and unjustified inventory adjustments).

  • Identify recurring system and process issues (for example, inventory errors, Controlling Goods Issues, Zero Movement For Consumption, aging) and lead root cause and corrective action plans.

  • Build and maintain basic analytical tools (Microsoft Excel) to support daily management and decision making.

  • Lead daily operations through Short Interval Management, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and executed:
    Safety → Quality → Customer Service → Productivity → Five S / Continuous Improvement

  • Utilize Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (Enterprise Resource Planning system) to monitor, validate, and correct warehouse transactions, including inventory movements, error handling (such as Controlling Goods Issues and Zero Movement For Consumption), and stock discrepancies.

This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
