Warehouse & Logistics Manager Doraville, GA | Full-Time | On-Site | $85,000
About BMA
For more than 30 years, Builders of Metro Atlanta (BMA) has been a trusted commercial door, frame, and specialty hardware installation company operating across Georgia and the Southeast. We're not your typical contractor — our Hardware Pre-Install (HPI) process means we assemble and pre-stage entire door packages in our Doraville warehouse before they ever hit a job site, cutting field time by more than 50%.
That warehouse is the engine of everything we do. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of it.
The Role
As Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you run the operation that keeps our field teams moving. You'll own inventory, coordinate inbound and outbound material flow, manage warehouse staff, and work directly with project managers to make sure the right hardware shows up at the right job site — on time, every time.
This isn't a role for someone who needs close supervision. You'll have autonomy, direct access to leadership, and real accountability. If you're the kind of person who sees a broken process and fixes it without being asked, you'll fit in here.
What You'll Own
- Daily warehouse operations: receiving, staging, kitting, shipping, and inventory accuracy
- Hardware Pre-Install (HPI) process — assembling and pre-staging door packages for commercial projects
- Supervising and developing warehouse staff
- Coordinating with project managers on material needs, delivery timing, and job site logistics
- Maintaining inventory records and work order tracking in Fieldwire (we'll train you on this)
- Identifying inefficiencies in layout, workflow, or processes — and fixing them
- Safety compliance and OSHA standards
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage staff, run daily operations, and hold a team accountable
- Strong communicator — written and verbal — comfortable interfacing with PMs and field crews
- Comfortable with technology: Excel, Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Gmail), and the ability to pick up new tools like Fieldwire quickly
Strong Plus:
- Experience on the supply or installation side of commercial door, frame, and hardware
- Background supporting commercial construction projects or a contractor's supply chain
- Familiarity with job site material coordination and delivery logistics
Physical/Practical:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift operation (certification preferred)
- Valid driver's license
Why BMA
- $85,000 base salary + performance bonuses
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Direct line to ownership — no corporate layers
- Growing company with real room to build something
- Training and development support
- Team that works hard and takes pride in doing things right
