Warehouse & CDL-A Delivery Professional (Employee-Owned Company)

Location: Chicago, IL (Local Routes)
Compensation: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour + Overtime + Industry-Leading Benefits
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexibility required for early/late starts)

Are you a CDL-A Driver who is tired of being "just a number" or sitting behind a wheel for 11 hours a day? We are seeking a versatile Warehouse & Delivery Professional for a premier, 100% employee-owned specialty chemical leader.

In this role, you aren’t just an employee—you are an owner. This position offers a unique "split" schedule, dividing your time between warehouse operations and local deliveries. You will be the face of the company, interacting directly with customers and ensuring the safe handling of essential materials.

• Active Work: This is a "high-touch" delivery role. You will be unloading and interacting with clients, not just waiting at a dock.

• Dual-Role Impact: Balance your day between warehouse tasks (receiving, organizing, and staging) and driving local delivery routes.
• Professional Delivery: Drive CDL-A vehicles to customer sites, perform manual unloading, and manage empty container retrievals.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain hazardous waste records, placards, and manifests in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
• Technical Handling: Operate forklifts and specialized equipment to repack bulk materials and manage inventory.
• Customer Service: Act as a brand ambassador during deliveries, ensuring professional communication and problem-solving on-site.

• License: Valid CDL-A required.
• Endorsements: Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are highly preferred (or the ability to obtain them immediately).
• Experience: 2+ years of related warehouse or driving experience.
• Physicality: Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliability: Must be willing to pass a driving test and adapt your schedule (early starts/late finishes) to meet customer delivery windows.
