Warehouse Associate

We are thrilled to have our handmade glass lighting installed in restaurants, hotels, and private residences all over the world.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, welcomes new ideas, works well with others in a team environment, and who has a desire to grow their leadership skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

We offer paid time off, sick time and a 401K program after 1 year of employment

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Purchase order fulfillment:

• Stock check for orders
• Direct daily communication with sales and logistics departments
• Sets packing expectations for the day

Quality Control:

• Quality control review for all items produced in our hot shop
• QC – grading following Niche protocol
• Sending daily report follow-up after grading all production from previous day’s work
• Custom canopy inspections upon receiving

Inventory and Purchasing:

• Maintaining an organized inventory of glass, bulbs, and electrical components
• Purchasing requests – bulbs, electrical, warehouse supplies (boxes, paper, etc.)
• Distribution and maintaining UL labels and shared document sheet
• Alerting purchasing when stock levels are low
• Overseeing Year End Inventory
• Restocking inventory

Company support:

• Sample Sale set-up.
• Assisting in trade show set up on site and prep
• Supporting our marketing department for product shots and photo shoots

Office Management:

• Responsible for maintaining shared documents

Shipping and Receiving:

• Shipping—labeling boxes and scanning work orders
• Receiving in accordance with protocol
• Palletizing orders and pallet dimensions

Other tasks:

• Packing for orders
• Sample kits
• Bulb Testing
• Box factory sale glass for storage

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience working in a warehouse environmentor comparable position

Every detail is carefully thought out between our team of designers, glass artists, and technicians in our Beacon, New York studio. After the pendants are hand-blown in our state-of-the-art Hot Shop, they are inspected, cut, drilled, ground and polished by hand in our Cold Shop to ensure our standard of excellence.
