We’re partnering with a creative in-house advertising agency, to find a skilled Video Editor and Animator to support a creative team. This temp role is based in Westwood, MA, with hybrid—on-site Mon–Thu. Candidates should have a strong eye for detail, storytelling, and design, capable of taking projects through all post-production phases.
Video Editor and Animator Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality video content for digital, social, and broadcast platforms, including promotional videos, explainers, ads, interviews, and reels.
- Design and animate motion graphics specifically for digital signage applications, retail displays, and experiential environments.
- Create compelling typography, transitions, lower thirds, and visual effects for large-format or high-resolution screens.
- Adapt and version content across various formats, aspect ratios, and screen types.
- Collaborate with creative teams to realize visual concepts and produce storyboards, rough cuts, and final animations.
Video Editor and Animator Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in video editing and motion design, with a focus on digital signage or screen-based content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Demonstrated ability to craft engaging stories with strong visual pacing and animation flow.
- Experience designing for a range of resolutions and playback environments, including LED walls and high-resolution screens.
- Knowledge of audio editing, sound design, and experience working with creative teams and collaboration tools.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
