Confidential – Controller/VP of Finance / Head of Finance - South Bay - On-Site - 200-300k plus bonus - Healthcare
Our client is a a high-growth, founder-led healthcare services organization is seeking a hands-on Controller / Head of Finance to build and lead its internal finance function.

You’ll step into an environment with strong operations and growth, but limited internal finance infrastructure, and will be responsible for bringing clarity, discipline, and visibility to the organization.
What You’ll Do
Near-Term Focus
- Assess and stabilize accounting operations
- Partner with external accounting resources to improve close and reporting
- Establish accurate, timely monthly financials
- Improve visibility into cash flow and working capital
- Identify gaps in processes, controls, and systems
Longer-Term Impact
- Build budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Provide leadership with actionable financial insights
- Support operational decision-making across departments
- Develop and lead a small internal accounting team
- Help scale the finance function alongside company growth

Who We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Experience in healthcare or similarly complex, multi-entity environments strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build or rebuild processes and infrastructure
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving change
- Strong communicator with a collaborative, no-ego approach
Compensation
- Base salary: $200K – $300K
- Performance-based bonus
- No equity
