Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for an experienced, outgoing Veterinary Assistant who enjoys being hands-on with patient care and building meaningful connections with clients and their pets. We're looking for someone with a solid clinical foundation, including dental experience, who is eager to continue developing their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will: - Support surgical and dental procedures from preparation through recovery, assisting with anesthesia, patient monitoring, and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow
- Manage treatment and exam room flow by preparing patients and equipment, gathering histories, obtaining TPRs, and anticipating the needs of the veterinary team
- Independently carry out key clinical tasks such as venipuncture, radiology, laboratory sample collection and processing, and administering medications as directed
- Maintain accurate medical records and serve as a key point of communication for clients, providing education, reviewing treatment plans, and delivering clear discharge instructions
This role is especially well suited for an assistant who is working toward becoming an RVT and is excited to grow their knowledge and responsibilities over time.
Schedule: This is a flexible full-time or part-time position with 8-hour shifts and availability needed Monday through Friday and for rotating Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.
Full-time benefits and compensation**: - Compensation: $22-24 per hour, for each hour worked*

Required qualifications and skill set: - 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and cystocentesis
- Placing IV catheters and administering injections
- Radiology positioning and technique
- In house laboratory processing including microscopy
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
- Dentistry including prophy, polish, charting, and radiographs
