ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida seeks a Vascular Medicine Physicianto join a growing, multidisciplinary vascular program. This role offers the opportunity to help build a comprehensive vascular medicine service aligned with Mayo Clinic’s integrated care model. The position emphasizes clinical excellence with opportunities in program development, education, and research. The ideal candidate will have expertise in arterial, venous, and lymphatic disease, with an interest invenous thromboembolism and wound care.
Clinical & Program Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient vascular medicine consultations
- Manage PAD, CLTI, VTE, thrombophilia, venous disease, vasculitis, and lymphatic disorders
- Participate in a vascular medicine consult serviceand multidisciplinary care (cardiology, vascular surgery, IR, general internal medicine, and hematology)
- Interpret noninvasive vascular studies (ABI, duplex, physiologic testing, vascular CTA, and MRI)
- Contribute to the development of integrated care pathways (PAD, CLTI, VTE, PERT)
Education & Research
- Teach and mentor trainees across levels of training, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in conferences and curriculum development
- Engage in clinical research, trials, and registries
QualificationsMD/DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Cardiology. Board-certified/board-eligible in Vascular Medicine. Eligible for FL medical license.
Interest or experience in vascular disease andwound care. Cardiology certification is a plus.
- Echocardiography and cardiac imaging certification a plus.
- Vascular imaging a plus.
