Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- This engineer will be responsible for fuel pump validation for a new design pump. They will lead validation planning, track hardware, plan and run tests, and communicate results to the team.Engineer will work with lead engineers, pump SME and two additional engineers on development of new fuel pump project to advance toward NPI launch.

Typical task breakdown:
- Component / system design development according to APQP and NPI program cadence
Interaction with team:
- Frequent interaction w/ core development team – team members plus work director
- Regular collaboration w/ support resources: SDE, suppliers, mechatronics, analysis, purchasing,
Work environment:
- Office primarily
- Hands-on lab/test environment (validation hardware: receiving, test coordination, inspection) -> increasing as project progresses to validation phase
Education & Experience Required:
- BS Engineering
- 2-5 years experience
Technical Skills (Required)
- 3D modeling/print detailing
- Clear understanding of GD&T
- Hand-on with product
- Product development experience
- FMEA/DVP&R/APQP
