Under general supervision, the Utility Services Worker position provides support for the maintenance and repair of water distribution, wastewater collections, and stormwater operations.
Posted pay range is the starting salary. Pay rate offered is based on experience.
Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to employment, a valid Texas driver’s license.
Possession of, or ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment, valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with tanker endorsement.
Possession of, or ability to obtain within one (1) year of employment, Class D Basic Water Operations license issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ);
Completion of, or ability to complete within one (1) year of employment, the following courses provided by Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX): Work Zone Traffic Control, Flaggers in Work Zones, Introduction to Backhoe Operation, and Skid Steer Operator.
