This role pays at a rate of $36.71/hr after completion of probationary period.

Crafted Highlights:

In the role of a Utility Maintenance Mechanic working in Albany, GA, you will be part of the Maintenance Team in the Utilities Department. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our brewery going. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great beer as possible.


This position reports to our maintenance process leaders and works closely with our teams in brewing, warehouse, and packaging.

WhatYou’llBe Brewing:

  • Support a safety and quality first culture.

  • Support brewery operations by coaching/mentoring, developing SOP’s, quick-fix routines for the breakdown process and carrying out work activities as planned during maintenance day windows.

  • Understands and owns utilizing process controls, routine maintenance, and the ability to measure, compare, compute, and correct operating systems to drive efficiencies.

  • Support plant initiatives for energy, water, and greenhouse improvements.

  • Train, support andparticipateinthe department’semergency response team.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance requirements aremaintainedthrough standard work practices.

Key Ingredients:

  • At least four years of industrial maintenance and /or four years practical experience in an accredited industrial apprenticeship program.

  • Related work experience: Industrial Journeyman level and on-the-job experience in a heavy industrialmechanicfield,power plants, industrial refrigeration, welding, and rebuilds (valves, compressors, pumps, etc.)

  • You have a high school diploma, or aGED,and you are at least 21 years of age.

  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly withyour understandingof the businesspriorities.

  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desiredoutcome.

  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
