We’re currently working with our client in the retail pet space where they are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting animal welfare, and fostering community impact. With a distributed team and multiple locations, this client champions a people-first culture and continuous improvement, aligning incentives with measurable business outcomes.

We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join a collaborative in-house UX team and make an immediate impact across digital experiences (web & mobile).

This position is all about turning user insights into action. You’ll lead discovery research, influence product direction, and help shape engaging, data-driven customer experiences—especially in areas like AI, personalization, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end discovery research: design, execute, analyze, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations tied to business impact
  • Conduct mixed-method research (usability testing, interviews, surveys, competitive analysis)
  • Use tools like UserTesting and ContentSquare for behavioral insights and session analysis
  • Collaborate in cross-functional trios (UX, Product, Engineering) to shape MVPs and roadmaps
  • Deliver clear, compelling stakeholder presentations (Figma/FigJam) up to executive level
  • Lead design validation & prototype testing, defining success metrics pre- and post-launch
  • Contribute to UX research best practices, templates, and documentation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while aligning stakeholders and timelines

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience conducting usability testing and user research (qual + quant)
  • Proficiency with tools like Figma, FigJam, UserTesting, ContentSquare
  • Ability to translate insights into clear product and design recommendations
  • Experience working closely with UX/UI designers, Product Managers, and Engineers
  • Background in Retail or eCommerce is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
