Job Description

The Pharmacy Inventory Technician maintains accurate inventory levels, supports efficient material flow, and ensures pharmacy operations run smoothly by managing stock, receiving and distributing materials, and collaborating with operations teams. This role plays a key part in preventing workflow interruptions and supporting a well-organized, efficient, and safe facility.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels for operational materials and supplies used across the facility.
  • Initiate replenishment activities in a timely manner to prevent interruptions to workflow.
  • Monitor incoming orders and communicate delivery status and any delays to internal stakeholders.
  • Accept and process incoming materials, verifying accuracy and ensuring proper labeling and storage.
  • Keep inventory records current and accurate within internal tracking and inventory systems.
  • Respond to internal requests by pulling, staging, and delivering materials to designated locations.
  • Prepare work areas with necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to support daily operations.
  • Assist with the organization of storage areas, shelves, and workstations to maintain an orderly environment.
  • Support general housekeeping activities, including breaking down packaging, disposing of materials, and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Assist with equipment movement, layout adjustments, and stocking activities as operational needs change.
  • Partner with operations and production teams to resolve inventory-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, storage organization, and inventory tracking practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and inventory control.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have prior inventory experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
