Job Title: Turret Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Turret Operator to join our team in producing custom electrical enclosure solutions. As a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience, we specialize in delivering high-quality metal boxes to a range of industries including Material Handling Systems, OEM, Building Automation Systems, and Distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Operate brake press, punch press, laser, and turret machinery, focusing on the Euromac and Armada models.
  • Build metal enclosure boxes by bending, punching, and drilling with precision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, calipers, and tape measures for accurate production.
  • Engage in sheet metal fabrication and machine operation.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards through inspection and use of production equipment.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating Brake Press, Punch Press, Laser, or Turret machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Experience in machine operation and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with hand tools and production equipment.
  • Experience with shear press and machine setup is a plus.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and inspection procedures.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, equipped with large fans throughout the site. The position is for the first shift, operating from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
