Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to evaluate and treat a broad range of conditions.


Minimum Requirements:

  • National certification in a relevant specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or equivalent (RDMS, RVT, RDCS accepted).
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer in an acute care or hospital setting. Experience in OBGYN, small parts, cardiovascular, and pediatric ultrasound highly preferred.
  • Required CPR certification upon hire and AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a range of ultrasound examinations across modalities relevant to inpatient care, including general abdominal, vascular, and cardiac studies as applicable to assigned modality.
  • Competence operating diagnostic ultrasound imaging systems and associated reporting/documentation systems.
  • Ability to work with patients across the lifespan from neonate to geriatric and meet unit-specific age competency standards.
  • Willingness and ability to float to other facility locations within the organization as staffing needs dictate, up to competency level.
  • Preferred: Experience performing invasive ultrasound-guided procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy) and exposure to accreditation processes for respective modalities.

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Nights.
  • Shift hours: 1900-0500.
  • Shift pattern: 4x10 schedule (typical schedule noted as Tuesday–Friday, 1900–0530 in client notes).
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 (per client information).
  • On-call: Some call will be required.
  • Floating: Traveler may be required to float to other locations within the organization.
  • Pick-up requirement: Traveler may be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
