Department/Unit Overview:
- 10 Bed Unit on the 2nd floor of the Sentara Heart Hospital
- Patient population includes: Cardiac patients (not surgical), pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, sepsis, and this unit is the MRT for the Heart Hospital.
Education
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
Experience
- Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care ICU hospital RN experience
