About the Role

Our client is seeking a Transportation Project Manager for its Houston office. This role is ideal for a licensed PE with strong TxDOT project management experience, a proven transportation project delivery track record, and the ability to manage projects from proposal and scoping through final delivery.

This is a high-impact role with strong growth potential and meaningful influence over client relationships, project execution, business development, and team leadership. METRO experience is preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Manage transportation projects through the full project lifecycle, from proposal and scoping through delivery and closeout
  • Lead TxDOT PS&E project delivery in compliance with applicable standards and requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships
  • Supervise project staff and provide technical guidance throughout project execution
  • Participate in proposal writing, client development, and business development efforts
  • Coordinate across multiple disciplines and office locations as needed
  • Support quality control, schedule management, budget oversight, and successful project delivery


Key Requirements

  • Active PE license required
  • Strong TxDOT project management experience required
  • PS&E delivery experience required
  • Full-cycle transportation project management experience, from scoping through closeout
  • Proven client management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading project staff
  • Strong communication, coordination, and proposal-writing skills
  • Experience supporting or leading business development efforts
  • METRO experience preferred
