Job Title: Training & Events Operations Manager

Duration: 18 plus months’ contract

Location: Foster City, CA 94404

Type of Position: Only on W2 basis


About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to lead planning and execution of US Commercial training events (new hire, leadership programs, etc.).
  • This role combines event management + project management to ensure seamless delivery and strong stakeholder experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute end-to-end training events and meetings
  • Manage project timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional coordination
  • Handle venue sourcing, RFPs, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • Oversee event logistics including registration, travel, AV, and catering
  • Deliver executive updates and post-event analytics with improvement recommendations
  • Drive process improvements and maintain SOPs for event execution


Requirements:

  • 5–7+ years of event planning/project management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with vendor negotiation, logistics, and large-scale events
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event technologies


Preferred:

  • CMP certification or background in Event/Hospitality Management
  • Biotech/pharma experience
  • Willingness to travel (~40%)



The pay rate range for this role is $35 - $38/hr on w2
