Trade Compliance Analyst

A well-established aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support global trade operations and ensure compliance with import/export regulations. This role serves as a strategic partner across supply chain, logistics, and business teams to navigate complex trade requirements, reduce risk, and support international growth initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of import/export documentation and filings to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support export license applications, maintain compliance records, and track approvals/statuses.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide trade compliance guidance and resolve regulatory issues.
  • Classify products for export and import purposes, including tariff codes and jurisdiction determinations.
  • Assist with employee trade compliance training and denied party screening for international visitors and travel.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in trade compliance, logistics, supply chain, or related regulatory functions.
  • Working knowledge of import/export regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience creating training materials.
