Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced TIG welder to join our team, specializing in welding thin stainless steel. You will be involved in producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry using TIG or heliarc techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on thin stainless steel for custom and prototype equipment.
  • Utilize MIG welding and wire feed techniques as required.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints and GD&T specifications.
  • Ensure all welds meet food grade quality standards.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Operate welding equipment including machine settings for various processes.
  • Perform fixturing and set-up as necessary for intricate welding processes.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in a laid-back environment.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 7+ years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in multiple positions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with intricate hand and machine welding processes.
  • Ability to develop complex fabrications to prescribed standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
