Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
The Test Technician I supports electronic manufacturing by troubleshooting assembly and system-level test failures to the component level, ensuring products meet performance and quality requirements. This role works closely with Test Engineers and customers to understand product functionality, resolve test issues, and provide break-fix support for test equipment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with electronics, wants to diversify their skills, and is looking for long-term growth and development in a clean, well-supported production environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a modern electronic manufacturing and engineering facility that focuses on product realization, including engineering, manufacturing, and support services for highly complex and regulated industries. The work environment is clean and temperature-controlled, ensuring it is never too hot or too cold on the production floor. Employees work with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and network analyzers in a structured production and test setting. The company emphasizes employee appreciation, offering events such as barbecues and providing an updated break room with snack options via a kiosk. Extensive training is provided to ensure technicians are confident and successful in their roles, and there are several levels available for advancement once converted to permanent employment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
