Duration: 6 Months (possible extension or conversion)
Compensation: $25-$30/hr
Job Description - Daily Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, test, and repair electronic systems, electro-mechanical assemblies, modules, and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA’s) down to the component level, utilizing schematics and other technical documentation.
Install and assemble new electro-mechanical equipment and components, with the ability to perform rework using soldering tools and equipment considered an asset.
Help production and engineering teams by supporting various tasks as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge in executing test programs and running tests on existing equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on test stations to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain, analyze, and interpret test data with accuracy.
Troubleshoot and define diagnostic parameters to programmatically determine root causes of issues.
Carry out all other duties as assigned.
Be prepared for occasional travel as required by the position.
Required Skills & Experience
Associate degree in Electronics or a minimum of 1+ years of equivalent experience.
Proficiency in using equipment and hand tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), and power supplies.
Skilled in electro-mechanical assembly and/or working along side assembly as a Test Technician
Experienced with Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to work either the first or second shift is needed.
