Test Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Production Test Technician for a Contract position with a client located in Everett, WA. Looking for more electronic theory and component-level troubleshooting.

Pay Range: $30/hr - $35/hr on W2 (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Relocation candidates are encouraged to apply; relocation assistance will be provided.

Job Title: Production Test Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

• Component-level testing, troubleshooting, rework, repair.
• Soldering (SMT and through-hole)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Perform duties using standard test equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures, practices, and specifications.
• Conduct moderate to complex tasks on a wide variety of production line instruments that have failed previous testing or in-field use, based on business needs.
• Provide input for writing or modifying test procedures and assist in constructing new test fixtures from drawings and specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on test processes and act as a resource for related procedures and best practices.
• Complete work with a limited degree of supervision.
• Solve problems of moderate to high complexity.
• Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience by providing guidance and support.
• Knowledge of computer systems architecture, high-level programming languages, and computer bus structuring fundamentals is desirable.
