This high visibility role is part of a new molecular R&D instrument development group. We are seeking two Level 4 Engineers to join an early-stage team responsible for baselining and identifying failure modes on complex electromechanical diagnostic devices. This position offers a ground floor opportunity on a brand new test and reliability program at a global leader in molecular diagnostics.
Responsibilities
Join a small, collaborative R&D engineering team at the Salt Lake City campus. The team comprises a program manager, project manager, systems engineer, and two test engineer roles, with plans to expand after six months. The position involves a mix of hands-on bench testing in a lab environment and desk work developing protocols, analyzing data, and preparing presentations. Expect a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, core hours between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, and flexibility within that window. A hybrid work model is available, but due to the hands-on nature of the role, on-site presence is required most of the time. The dress code is R&D engineering casual, suitable for lab and shop floor work. A laptop will be provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58.00 - $75.00/hr.
