Job Description

We’re seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our Jackson, TN team. In this B2B outside sales role, you’ll build customer relationships, secure equipment rental contracts, and drive sales of our forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment. You’ll work with an established industrial and construction customer base while also developing new accounts—backed by the strength of a company with 70 years of proven success and a reputation for providing exceptional customer service.

DUTIES & Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of rental and sales accounts in the industrial, construction, and material handling industry
  • Develop new customer relationships within your assigned territory
  • Promote and demonstrate industry-leading equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers
  • Provide tailored solutions that address customer needs and maximize their uptime
  • Collaborate with our service, rental, and support teams to ensure a superior level of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of professional outside sales experience (B2B, industrial/construction equipment preferred)
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially email and calendar management in Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Strong “people skills” with the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • A high level of resourcefulness, internal drive, and sales acumen
  • Social media familiarity (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Field-based sales role with regular travel to customer sites and periodic in-office collaboration.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Comfortable with frequent and extended travel by car
