Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company is actively recruiting for a temporary Office Services Specialist for an onsite role with a prestigious law firm client in McLean, VA.


Hours: Candidates need to be able to be available between 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday, 37.50 hours per week

Start date: ASAP, Immediate opening

Duration: 8-12 weeks, potentially longer and could go temp-to-hire for the right candidate

Pay Rate: $22 - $25 hour, depending on directly related experience

Work Location: Onsite


Position Summary

The Office Services Specialist supports daily office operations by providing front-office coverage, conference room coordination, and administrative assistance. This role serves as a backup to the receptionist, ensures meetings and events run smoothly, and assists with records management, mail services, and general office support. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment.


Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front‑Office Support

  • Serve as backup for the receptionist, including greeting visitors and assisting employees and guests.
  • Answer and route calls or inquiries as needed during reception coverage.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming front-office environment.
  • Set up conference rooms for meetings, including furniture arrangements, technology readiness, and supplies.
  • Order and coordinate food and refreshments for meetings and events.
  • Ensure conference rooms are clean and reset after use.
  • Perform photocopying, scanning, and document handling.
  • Assist with records management and filing as needed.
  • Conduct mail runs and handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Office Administrator, including ad hoc tasks and office projects.
  • Respond to internal requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist employees with office-related needs and questions.
  • Juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
