Job Title: HR Assistant (Contract – Recruiting Focus)

Location: Pasadena, CA (Onsite or Hybrid, as applicable)

Duration: 1‑Month Contract

Pay Rate: $27–$28/hour

Job Summary:

LHH is seeking an HR Assistant with strong recruiting experience to support a short‑term contract assignment in Pasadena. This role will focus heavily on full‑cycle recruiting while also providing general HR support as needed. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, adaptable, and comfortable jumping into a fast‑paced environment with minimal ramp‑up time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for exempt and non‑exempt roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and prioritize requisitions
  • Post jobs, review resumes, and conduct initial candidate screenings
  • Coordinate interviews and support candidate communication throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with onboarding and pre‑employment processes
  • Provide general HR support, including employee inquiries, documentation, and compliance support
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS and HR systems

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Recruiter with strong recruiting responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment compliance
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a contract environment
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems preferred
