How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Continuous Cardiac Surveillance: Provide dedicated oversight of patient cardiac patterns via telemetric devices to ensure immediate detection of life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Rhythm Analysis & Documentation: Accurately identify and document irregular heart rhythms and subtle changes in cardiac activity for the permanent medical record.
  • Critical Communication: Act as the first line of alert by promptly forwarding significant rhythm changes to the RN or attending physician for immediate clinical interpretation.
  • Technical Inventory Management: Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry monitoring equipment to ensure all hardware is functional and supplies are stocked for uninterrupted monitoring.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
