The Position
The Chief Architect for Technology Infrastructure will have responsibility for leading a cloud-first IT infrastructure.
Lead strategic planning and architectural planning for technology infrastructure including: End User Computing, Network, Mainframe/ Midrange, Hybrid Data Center and Database and Analytics.
Engage, build and partner with various executive leaders and key stakeholders, to ensure that activities from the teams are in alignment with current business objectives, as well as long term vision of the system, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Responsible for optimizing the IT demands and the supply capacity of the teams to prioritize the assignment of resources. Creating engaged and high performing agile teams.
Building and optimizing the evolving needs of system level architectural capabilities to support the enterprise-wide data and integration strategies.
Provide expertise, thought leadership and direction to bring into life the strategic technological direction to actionable, measurable outcomes through planning, coordination and delegation.
Manage and share monthly reports on service levels for infrastructure, development, operations, and vendor management activities.
Provide expertise and leadership in selection and management of vendors to provide low-cost, high efficiency solutions, which are size-appropriate for the current environment while being able to expand as the organization grows.
Provide leadership in the development of IT policies and operational procedures that affect the reliability of the IT infrastructure.
Provide partnership for data governance and quality, state-of-the-art cybersecurity practices, and lead a team to develop and maintain state- of -the -art integrated systems and information architectures to support Nevro’s objectives.
Maintain and enhance professional expertise and skills through participation in appropriate educational and training seminars related to Information Technology.
Co-own OpEx planning and execution with the Leader of infrastructure, heavily focused on building financial models in partnership with Finance.
Responsible for budgets within his/her/their department and resource planning to meet project objectives.
