Technician – Building Product Testing (1st Shift)

Pay: $22–$23/hr

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and build out different configurations of windows, doors, wall panels and roof assemblies in shop.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to position products for testing
• Perform various tests on windows, doors, wall panels, and roof assemblies
• Run standard tests following ASTM, AAMA, and other test standards
• Check equipment calibration before testing
• Record, analyze, and report test results
• Help write clear test reports summarizing procedures and findings
• Work with internal teams to schedule and complete testing jobs
• Communicate with clients about test setup and results
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

✅ Overhead crane experience (required)

✅ Experience installing windows, doors, or construction-related products

✅ Experience performing product testing and reporting results

✅ Forklift experience

✅ Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and testing procedures

✅ Comfortable using computers for documentation and reporting

• High School Diploma required (Technical School preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow complex testing procedures
• Safety-focused and reliable

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emigsville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Emigsville,PA.
