Job Title: Associate Technical Trainer (Telecom / Data Center)

Contract Job

Location: Columbus, OH & Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $35-45/hr on W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training within a corporate learning environment. This is a fully onsite role focused on providing instructor-led training and hands-on learning experiences in telecom and data center technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with the ability to effectively train and mentor adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructor-led training, including classroom sessions, hands-on labs, and assessments
• Facilitate employee onboarding and technical training programs
• Provide additional support and remediation to ensure successful learning outcomes
• Collaborate with trainers, leadership, and stakeholders to identify training needs
• Track training progress and maintain accurate reports and documentation
• Evaluate and improve training materials and content
• Maintain training facilities, equipment, and lab environments
• Coordinate training schedules, enrollment, and logistics
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data centers and telecom
• Assist in developing new training programs and materials
• Communicate effectively with trainees and leadership at all levels
• Support continuous improvement through feedback and mentorship programs
• Travel as required

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience in telecommunications, data centers, electrical, or related technical fields
• Experience training, mentoring, or leading technical teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to obtain industry certifications such as BICSI within 12 months
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
