This position involves developing project design criteria and producing comprehensive design packages to guide construction and operation. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales and project management, to anticipate challenges and provide innovative solutions. With a strong emphasis on adhering to industry standards and best practices, the Project Engineer is instrumental in delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Lead high-voltage substation projects that are essential to clients and the communities they serve.
  • Ensure successful project delivery on schedule and within budget while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Build collaboration among internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
  • Promote proactive risk management to address challenges before they impact project execution.
  • Maintain strict compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in engineering roles within high-voltage substation EPC projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-voltage equipment and electrical engineering principles.
  • Project Engineering Skills: Proficiency in engineering design, analysis, and implementation, including developing and reviewing technical documentation and specifications.
  • Design & Analysis: Ability to create and evaluate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with project teams and stakeholders.
  • EHS Compliance: Experience ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance in engineering practices.
  • Education & Certification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field) and relevant certifications, with hands-on experience in HV substation design and construction.
