Technical Program Manager | Healthcare AI | High-Growth Startup
About the Opportunity
Our client is one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure companies in healthcare, building mission-critical technology that sits directly inside payer and clinical workflows. They are hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise deployments and drive execution across complex, high-stakes implementations. This is a rare opportunity to operate in a forward-deployed role, sitting at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering—owning delivery from post-sale through go-live and long-term success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end execution of enterprise deployments, from contract signature through implementation, go-live, and handoff
- Act as the primary operator across customer, product, and engineering teams during deployments
- Translate complex technical products into real-world workflows for payer and clinical users
- Drive implementation strategy across highly technical, workflow-heavy environments
- Identify risks, blockers, and gaps early, and proactively drive resolution across internal and external stakeholders
- Partner closely with product and engineering to surface field insights and influence product improvements
- Build and refine repeatable processes, playbooks, and infrastructure to scale deployments
- Operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where structure doesn’t exist yet—and create it
Ideal Background
- 5–10 years of experience in technical program management, implementation, or forward-deployed roles
- Experience leading complex enterprise deployments, ideally in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Strong technical fluency (APIs, data systems, integrations, or AI/ML systems) with ability to work closely with engineering
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives across customers, engineering, and product teams
- Track record of owning execution in high-stakes, ambiguous environments
Preferred Profile
We are particularly interested in candidates who bring some combination of the below:
- Experience in healthcare, especially payer systems, clinical workflows, or healthtech platforms
- Background in consulting (e.g., McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company) or forward-deployed roles at companies like Palantir
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and owning post-sale delivery
- Familiarity with integrations, data pipelines, and workflow-heavy systems
- Founder or early-stage startup experience
- Clinical or healthcare operations exposure
Why This Role Stands Out
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact, forward-deployed role in healthcare AI—owning how mission-critical technology gets implemented inside real-world payer and clinical environments.
You’ll be the person who ensures the product actually works in practice, not just in theory—bridging the gap between what’s built and what delivers value.
You’ll operate with high ownership, work directly with customers and internal teams, and help define how deployments scale at one of the fastest-growing companies in the space.
