We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer specializing in womens Intimates to join our team. In this role, you will support your category of expertise, while leveraging your skills to help ensure the development of high-quality products. You will be responsible for executing the technical design process from initial development to final fit, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver garments that meet our fit, comfort, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the technical design process from development through to final fit.
- Evaluate and analyze garments to ensure the correct fit specifications are developed.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure design intent is met, adhering to our fit, comfort, and quality standards.
- Develop and communicate technical specifications, including fit comments and pattern corrections, to vendors and factories for approval.
- Conduct and/or participate in fittings, providing expert feedback on fit adjustments and ensuring that all products are made in accordance with established fit, quality, and cost specifications.
- Partner closely with factories to monitor quality, integrity of design, and meet targeted price points.
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as Excel, Illustrator, Centric, and Flex PLM for technical documentation and communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Apparel Design, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern making, and correction processes.
- Ability to conduct and lead fittings, provide fit comments, and make necessary pattern adjustments.
- Proficient in Centric, Excel, Illustrator, Flex PLM, and other related software tools.
